From Zvartnots airport to Yerevan: every option compared
Minibus, city bus, taxi apps or private transfer — what each costs, how long it takes, and which one we would actually pick at 3 a.m.

Zvartnots (EVN) sits just 12 km west of Yerevan, so no option is truly bad — but prices vary by a factor of ten. Here is the honest comparison.

What we would do
Install GG or Yandex Go before departure, buy a local SIM at arrivals (Ucom and Viva booths are open for every flight), and order the car from the arrivals café. The pickup point is one minute from the door.
Good to know
- Bus 201 runs roughly 07:00–22:00 and stops near Rossia Mall and the city centre; pay the driver.
- Night flights land in waves: if the app shows surge pricing, wait ten minutes and it usually drops.
- There is no rail link — anyone selling you "airport train tickets" is being creative.
- Heading straight to Dilijan or Gyumri? Agree a fixed price with a transfer, or sleep in Yerevan: morning marshrutkas are frequent and cheap.
